Introduction

Born in Dubai during the quiet days of the pandemic, DoughBai is the creation of Chef Wadad and her son. What began as a shared sourdough starter soon grew into a story of Lebanese success and passion.

Even the name carries this spirit: a smart blend of “Dubai” and “dough,” honoring both the city where their first starter came to life and the art of baking that unites them.

 

Our Approach

When DoughBai reached out to Credou, we set out to capture more than a bakery, we wanted to express a journey. The branding's base is flowers and greenery, symbols of freshness, nature, patience, and abundance.

At its heart lies the emblem: the Arabic letters د ب و brought together to form a heart.

This was no coincidence!

Why a heart?

Because cooking is the truest love language. Because sourdough requires patience; a gesture of care.

Baking demands consistency; a sign of commitment.

And DoughBai itself was born from passion.

All of which circle back to love, the brand’s greatest ingredient!

 

 

 But honestly, what we've learned from this journey is that love is not just an ingredient at DoughBai, it is the identity!
